WorkForce Lowest Rate
The lowest unemployment rate in West Virginia can be found in Jefferson County at three-point-four-percent. WorkForce West Virginia said last week the statewide rate showed an uptick in January and followed that up yesterday with county numbers. Jefferson County was followed by Berkeley County at three-point-nine-percent but unemployment was higher in all 55 state counties. Cabell County hit five-percent for the first month of this year.
