Project Underway

The multi-million-dollar project to improve Valley Park in Hurricane is underway. Officials held a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday. Once complete, the park will have a new baseball and soccer field, a new community center, an ADA-compliant playground, and improvements made to the wave pool, which will include a sand bar. The work is expected to be wrapped up by next July.
