School Bus Stop Signs Are Being Ignored

Just a few weeks into the school year, drivers still are not getting the message about stopping at school bus stop signs. On Monday, Kanawha County Schools shared video of a police cruiser rolling through a school bus stop sign on MacCorkle Avenue last week. Dozens of cars followed. The video shows the police cruiser keep driving even as the bus’s extended arm stop sign is out and its lights flashing. Bus drivers said drivers still seem to not understand that you must stop in all lanes for a stopped school bus.
