Math Student

A Huntington math student at Marshall University is being given a national research award. Twenty-three-year-old statistics and economics student Jennifer Niemann was recognized for her work on statistical modeling of environmental data with non-detects. The undergrad’s focus is on several methods of analyzing data known to be below detection limit of a measuring device. Niemann said she was pleasantly surprised to discover she had won an award for her research.
