Meeting with FAA

The meeting with the FAA yesterday went well, and the group from Yeager Airport is hopeful that the federal funds will be there to help extended the runway safety zone. The group from the airport is seeking about 14 million dollars as a short-term fix to the engineered materials arresting system at the end of the runway. The long-term extension of the runway into Coonskin Park will cost several more million dollars.
