Trump’s Blueprint

A new study says President Trump’s “Blueprint” Budget for 2018 will hurt West Virginia more than any other state. The state’s Center on Budget and Policy says West Virginia relies more on federal assistance than other states because of high poverty rates, low-wage jobs and a generally unhealthy and aging population. The numbers vary on the impact to the state but the Center says nearly 300-million-federal-dollars would be lost for certain programs under the current plan.
