Roadchecks on I 64

Inspectors with the Transportation Division of West Virginia’s Public Service Commission are stopping trucks on interstate 64 this week. Roadcheck 2017 is underway at the Scott Depot and Winfield weigh stations. The trucks are being safety checked for maintenance issues, primarily faulty or worn brakes. Over the three-day inspection period last year, nearly ten thousand semi-trucks were found to be out of compliance.
