Bills for Special Session

West Virginia lawmakers are trying again to adopt tax and budget bills for the 16th day of a special session that has cost about $500,000 so far. The extra days cost roughly $35,000 each with the 134 legislators by law getting paid $150 daily, plus travel expenses as well as per diems of $131 for overnight stays and $55 if they commute.
