Settlement over Chemical Spill

A settlement over the 2014 West Virginia water crisis is being denied by a federal judge. A class action lawsuit had been filed after the chemical spill into the Elk River and a 151-million-dollar deal had finally been reached with West Virginia American Water. A judge Friday refused to give initial approval to the plan and called for some of the language to be changed before moving it forward.
