Officials with the West Virginia State Fair say they’re taking extra precautions in light of the tragedy in Ohio. A teenager was killed and several others badly injured when a carnival ride malfunctioned at the Ohio State Fair Wednesday night. West Virginia State Fair CEO Kelly Collins says they’re making sure not to rush their ride inspections ahead of the fair, which gets underway Thursday. All rides are inspected three separate times before going live.
