Former Boone County School Employees are Sentenced for Embezzlement

Two people who worked in the Boone County school system have learned their sentences in an embezzlement case. David Bryan Jarrell and Tracy Harvey were both sentenced this week to 1 to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty and agreeing to testify against others in the case. State Police say the embezzlement involved more than $20,000 and took place over the 2014 to 2017 school years. A grand jury will decide if others will face charges in the case.
