Sheriff’s Office to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office plans another high visibility sobriety checkpoint tonight from 8pm to 1am on Big Tyler Road in Cross. Lanes. It’s part of a zero tolerance policy when it comes to driving under the influence, and one of many random checkpoints throughout the year to target impaired drivers with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program.
