Charleston Police Officer is Shot During Burglary; Will Be Okay

A bulletproof vest may have saved an officer last night during a burglary. A Charleston police officer responding to a burglary around 11pm last night at 610 Albert Street was shot in the vest, and one suspect was shot and killed. Dispatchers said there were other people shot too, and all suspects are in custody. Officers are investigating and interviewing witnesses.
