DEA fighting opioid abuse

A new Drug Enforcement Administration field office in Appalachia will help in the fight against opioid use. The new office will be in Louisville, Kentucky and oversee the Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia region. The highest rate for opioid overdose deaths occurs in the Mountain State, with more than 41 deaths per 100-thousand people.
