More money to fight the opioid epidemic

Nearly 21-million dollars will be split up among nine treatment programs to fight the state’s opioid epidemic. The money comes from a settlement with drug companies responsible for fueling the pain killer epidemic. The money will be used to improve resource and to increase the number of beds in treatment centers.
