West Virginia’s high school graduation rate is at the top

West Virginia’s high school graduation rate is the best in the country. The state’s 2016-2017 graduation rate was just under 90-percent, 17-thousand-400 students received diplomas. The state board of education says several initiatives have contributed to the increase, including the state’s Early Warning System; which helps identify students at risk of dropping out.
