Sheriff’s Office Plans Sobriety Checkpoint Friday

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has a sobriety checkpoint planned for Friday night as part of its Zero Tolerance policy on drunk and impaired driving. The sheriff’s office randomly conducts checkpoints throughout the year, and they’ll have one set up Friday night from 7pm to midnight on Big Tyler Road in Cross Lanes. The Governor’s Highway Safety Program helps sponsor the checkpoint.
