Prescription drug settlement

West Virginia will take part in a multi-million-dollar settlement with a prescription drug manufacturer to resolve allegations it misled consumers. A group of states sued Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, saying the effectiveness of four drugs was misleading. West Virginia will receive more that 150-thousand-dollars of the 13-and-a-half-million-dollar settlements.
