Trade dispute could affect WV jobs
State officials are hoping a trade dispute over Canadian airplanes won’t affect hundreds of West Virginia workers. The “Gazette” reports that about four-hundred people work at Bombardier’s commercial aircraft service center in Bridgeport, but the company is locked in a trade dispute with Boeing over the price of a small C-Series passenger jet. Bombardier recently sold the C-Series to Airbus, which makes planes in Alabama.
