Decline in population threatens congressional seat
A decline in population could threaten one of West Virginia’s congressional seats. Political consulting firm, Election Data Services, says the continuing decline in the state’s population could mean the loss of a congressional seat by 2022, after the 2020 census. West Virginia’s population numbers are down almost 13-thousand people from last year.
