Son of A Church Leaders is Sentenced to Probation
The son of a Charleston community leader was sentenced Wednesday to three years’ probation after admitting to a federal drug charge. 31 year old Matthew Watts was sentenced for distributing heroin. Last month, Watts admitted that earlier this year he sold heroin to a confidential informant. The drug deal took place at the 7-Eleven on Washington Street West. Watts is the son of Rev. Matthew Watts pastor of Charleston’s Grace Bible Church.
