Fire department treasurer pleads guilty to embezzlement

The former treasurer of the Teays Valley Volunteer Fire Department has pleaded guilty to embezzling over 75-thousand dollars. Kathy Gwinn admitted to writing herself unauthorized payroll checks form the fire departments accounts since 2014. Gwinn faces up to ten years in prison.
