Teachers want a raise

Teachers want a raise. Educators rallied in Charleston yesterday, claiming the governor’s proposed one percent salary increase isn’t enough to keep up with the cost of living. They also voiced concerns about possible policy changes in seniority, vouchers, education saving accounts and charter schools. About 200 people attended the rally yesterday at the State Capitol.
