Surgery still on hold at Cabell Huntington Hospital

Elective surgeries are still on hold at Cabell Huntington Hospital. The operating room remains closed until at least Monday. Last week several sterile surgical trays were contaminated with a granular particulate. The hospital says it’s installed a new water filtration system to address the problem. The trays were not used in patient procedures.
