Prison guards could get a raise

Prison guards may be getting a raise…The West Virginia House voted unanimously to raise salaries for jail and prison guards by six-thousand-dollars over three years in an effort to fill hundreds of vacancies and reduce turnover. The two-thousand-dollar annual raises would begin in July.
