School’s out in West Virginia. All 55 counties canceled classes today and tomorrow because of the teacher’s strike. The state’s teachers’ union called for the walkout to protest health insurance rate hikes and minimal salary increases. West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is calling the strike illegal, and is offering to support any state or local agency that wants to take the issue to court.
