Girls State Basketball Tournament Starts Wednesday

The girls state basketball tournament is kicking off tomorrow at the Charleston Civic Center. Class A, AA and AAA schools will be squaring off Wednesday through Saturday, according to the schedule posted on the West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission’s website. Quarterfinal games are Wednesday and Thursday, semifinals are Friday and finals are Saturday. Local teams participating in the tournament include Wayne, Logan and Lincoln in Class AA, Charleston Catholic in Class A and George Washington in Class AAA.
