Gov. appoints new Acting Secretary of Dept. of Education and the Arts

Governor Jim Justice has appointed W. Clayton Burch as acting secretary of the Department of Education and the Arts two days after Gayle Manchin was terminated. Burch has been serving as associate state superintendent of schools. Manchin was fired Monday after she issued a statement on a house bill that would eliminate the Department of Education and the Arts.
