Middle school guidance counselor arrested on drug charges

A guidance counselor at East Bank Middle School is in jail on drug charges. Nitro police arrested forty-two-year-old Matthew Anderson during a traffic stop Thursday morning. He’s charged with intent to traffic meth and driving under the influence. Anderson is on a leave of absence after a drug arrest last November.
