Planned Outage in Madison on Friday

Sometimes you don’t know it’s coming, but this power outage will be planned. Residents in Boone County may have power go out this Friday for a planned outage. The City of Madison Emergency Management Services said on Facebook that the 8-hour outage will happen from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday a crews replace two power poles on Madison Avenue.
