Trial Dates Set in Two Sexual Abuse Cases

Trial dates have been set for two separate sexual abuse cases in Kanawha County circuit court. 41-year-old Michael Scott Bryant, of St. Albans, is scheduled to stand trial July 21. The Gazette-Mail reports 42-year old Michael Ray Moles Jr. will go to trial on Aug. 13. Last Friday, Bryant pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of sexual abuse in a case involving a 10-year-old girl in 2015 and 2016. Moles pleaded not guilty last week to six counts of sexual abuse in a case involving a boy who was younger than 12 years old at the time. Bryant is on home confinement, and Moles is serving jail time while he awaits trial.
