Woman Abandons Toddler with AEP Workers

Troopers are investigating after a woman left her toddler with AEP workers. 911 dispatchers got the call Tuesday afternoon about a mom allegedly abandoning her 1-year-old son at the Cedar Hills Trailer Park in Ripley. West Virginia State Police troopers responded and learned from AEP workers that the mom walked up to them, handed them the child, and walked away. She came back while troopers were there, and they said she appeared to be under the influence of drugs. 26-year old Myra Green is charged with child neglect and CPS has custody of the child.
