New schools in Nicholas County

West Virginia’s School Building Authority will vote today on a consolidation plan for Nicholas County. The Board of Education formally approved the proposal earlier this week, which includes replacing three schools that were damaged in the 2016 floods. The plan calls for new high schools and middle schools for the Richwood and Summersville areas.
