“Backpack Buddy” helps feed kids over summer vacation

Volunteers packed 18-hundred boxes for the “Backpack Buddy” summer food program. The local non-profit sends boxes to students’ homes during summer vacation to make sure they have food in the pantry. One in five children in West Virginia struggle with hunger.
