Home Inspector Faces Charges
A Cabell County home inspector will have to pay $15,000 in civil penalites after allegedly charging customers for work they didn’t do. West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey says Safe & Sound Inspection Services and its owner/operator Ivan Leon Harless will also have to pay $5,068 in consumer restitution, and won’t be able to do home inspection work until the amounts are paid. Attorney General Morrisey says the company charged customers for water removal and mold remediation but never completed the work.
