Blankenship files for Senate race

Former Massey Energy CEO Don Blankenship filed paperwork Tuesday to run for U.S. Senate in November. That will likely lead to a legal battle between his campaign and the state. Blankenship filed to be the Constitution Party Candidate. He lost the Republican Primary more than two months ago. The campaign says it’s prepared to challenge the state’s “sore loser” law.
