Gov. Jim Justice announced at a news conference Monday that all taxes owed by his companies in the Mountain State have been resolved. Tax Revenue Secretary Dave Hardy confirmed the payments and said the state’s tax office are working to get rid of all the assessments against Justice’s companies and have liens removed within 48 hours. Hardy said under state code, he could not reveal how much has been repaid by Justice’s companies, an amount that includes penalties and fees.
