Atlantic Coast Pipline issued stop work order

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued a stop work order on the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. The order halts construction on the 5-and-a-half-billion dollar project, and requires Atlantic Coast Pipeline and Dominion Energy to provide an interim right-of-way and work area stabilization plan. The project includes 600 miles of buried pipeline from West Virginia into eastern North Carolina.
