Capital HS Working on Alternate Plan After Mold Closure
With Capital High School closed again today because of mold issues, administrators are coming up with a plan for what’s next. Kanawha Communications Director Briana Warner told the Gazette-Mail that the goal is to get the affected rooms cleaned, tested and cleared by Monday, but schools and district administrators are working on an action plan for students to get back to learning early next week even without the test results. Students won’t have to make up the days missed this week, and Capital has built into its schedule an additional 30 minutes every day over the minimum requirement.
