Appalachian Power proposes rate cut

Appalachian Power Company is changing direction on how it proposes to use 235-million-dollars is savings from the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The plan calls for 25-and-a-half-million dollars to be used for a nearly four-percent rate reduction to customers for the next six months beginning September 1st.
