State’s Graduation Rate Improves

West Virginia education officials say more of the state’s students are graduating from high school. The graduation rate is 86.5 percent in the 2014-15 school year. In Cabell County, the graduation rate overall has increased significantly since the 2008-09 school year, when the county rate was 67.83 percent, and the state’s rate was 75.54 percent.
