Ice Arena Reopens in South Charleston This Weekend

An arena that has been closed for repairs since July is opening up this weekend. The South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena will open to the public tomorrow, and figure skaters and ice hockey players are practicing there today. Crews are working on a few finishing touches to the heating system under the ice now. The ice arena closed in July to allow time for repairs to a broken dehumidifier and a broken floor warming system.
