Patient assaults medical staff at CAMC

A hospital patient is accused of pulling a knife and pepper spraying three staff members at Charleston Area Medical Center. Eighty-one-year-old John Riggs is charged with assaulting the medical staff at Memorial Hospital. Officers used a stun gun on Riggs because he refused to comply. Riggs is still in the hospital, but under supervision.
