Money Comes to West Virginia for Roads
With multi-year federal funding in place for highway construction, the state Division of Highways is looking to make the most of the upcoming allocations. West Virginia will get $2.5 billion over five years in the bill passed earlier this month and signed into law by President Obama. Some of that money will go toward the completion of projects like U.S. Route 35 in Putnam and Mason counties and Corridor H through the eastern mountains.
