Kanawha County EMS Workers Head to Help with Hurricane Florence
The Kanawha County Ambulance Authority left early Wednesday morning to help with rescue and relief efforts in North Carolina and Virginia. Eyewitness News reported a team of six ambulances and 12 people took off for the Raleigh area to help with relief efforts and another team went to Fort AP Hill in Virginia. Kanawha County will still maintain its day-to-day fleet locally, so there will not be any service interruptions here.
