Suspended Supreme Court Judge Makes Court Appearance
Suspended West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Allen Loughry was back in federal court Monday to face a 25-count indictment related to mail fraud, wire fraud, witness tampering and lying to federal agents. Monday’s court date was a time for lawyers to argue pre-trial motions. Loughry’s trial is set for Oct. 2. Loughry also is facing a separate impeachment trial in the state Senate scheduled Nov. 12.
