Long lines to cash water settlement checks

People are lining up to cash their water settlement checks. More than 200-thousand Kanawha Valley residents and businesses received checks totaling more than 70-million dollars. Most people are able to cash the check at their own bank, but for those without a bank account, the check has to be cashed at Fifth Third Bank. The line was out the door at the downtown Charleston location. Some people waited more than an hour to receive their money.
