Woman Sought in Animal Neglect Case
The animals are safe and sound with the humane society, but detectives are still looking for their former owners. Sandra Humphrey is accused of leaving three adult dogs and three puppies alone for a week at a home in the 1900 block of Iris drive in Charleston. A neighbor called police after hearing the dogs whimpering inside the home. There was no food or water and the floors were covered in waste. Humphrey is facing 12 counts of animal cruelty. If you know where she is, call the non-emergency Kanawha County 911 number.
