Woman Arrested in Fatal Stabbing
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was fatally stabbed outside The Tobacco Shop on Sissonville Drive Tuesday. 57-year old Cheryl Fisher of Charleston was stabbed in the back, but was able to get into her car and drive off and get to Sissonville Health Center, and was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Charleston. She died of her injuries a short time later. 30-year old Cynthia Gatewood of Nitro was located later at the Family Dollar store and was arrested and charged with murder. It’s not known what led up to the fight.
