WVU Names New Leader in Entrepreneurship
A West Virginia University official who has offered guidance to students looking to start their own businesses has been hired for an administrative job on campus that focuses on entrepreneurship. WVU Provost Joyce McConnell says Carrie White, the former director of the WVU LaunchLab, has been named assistant vice president for entrepreneurship and innovation at the university. White fills the open position following a national search. During her tenure as director of WVU LaunchLab, White provided guidance and resources to more than 1,800 students interested in starting their own businesses or innovations.
